Project Management

We do not construct gardens ourselves, but we have worked with many landscapers (and builders). We can help you find the right contractor and, because we do not 'mark-up' or accept any incentives from contractors or suppliers, we recommend that competitive quotations are obtained. Once a contractor has been chosen, we can agree a fee with you to produce a schedule of works and oversee the construction. This usually means a site visit once or twice a week but we are always ready to drop everything if a problem arises on site. Our aim is to ensure that the project runs smoothly and that the garden is built to the highest standards.

Fees

All work is charged at an hourly rate but we are also able to either estimate costs for design work or give clients a fixed price, if required. We do not charge travel expenses for clients within a radius of 25 miles from our offices in Dawlish but, beyond that, we charge 40p per mile for the extra miles only.

We do not 'mark up' on any subcontracted work or supplies of plants, materials etc. and we pass on to clients any trade discounts which may be available. In this way, we are always able to work solely in the interest of clients and are not linked or tied to any particular contractors or suppliers, even if we recommend them to you.
